Drunk lady at a party : "I thought you were very arrogant and unapproachable when I met you."

Me : "OK. Wait a minute - you said 'thought'? You don't think so anymore?"

DLAP : "Yeah now that I have talked to you, I don't think so. But my first impression about you was that."

Me : "But doesn't that say more about you than me? That you drew assumptions about a person before you even got to know them?"

DLAP :" No but you're in the entertainment line. You should care what people think of you."

Me : "The only thing I care about when people come to my shows is that they had a good time. And that's the first impression that I'd like to make."

I think she gave up after trying a few more angles. I was gracious, but she could see I was not willing to budge.

Wonder what she thought of me after that conversation. OK that's a lie. I do not wonder at all.
